Ellie Goulding has exposed that she’s writing new songs for Cheryl Cole. The ‘Starry Eyed’ frontman admitted that she thinks the pair will be a good match, but wants to begin to know Cole better before they write material together. She said to the Daily Star : “The tracks I should write for Cheryl will come to me when I meet her. ” Goulding is presently shaping up for her support slot on John Mayer’s imminent UK arena tour. Ellie Goulding has joined the rapidly-growing line-up for this year’s iTunes Holiday . The BRIT Award winner, well known for her hit ‘Starry Eyed’ and now shaking up the Xfm playlist with her recent tune ‘Guns And Horses’, will play the Roundhouse in London on July 8. The holiday occurs from July 1 to 31 and features 62 acts playing free shows at the mythical location. Xfm will again be at the shows and we’ll give away stacks of tickets nearer the time
